First, let's understand the difference between Disease and syndrome.
A disease is a specific pathological condition with identifiable causes and diagnostic criteria, whereas a disease often has treatments targeted at addressing the symptoms or managing symptoms with the help of medical treatment and rest and recovery.

The syndrome is a set of clinical features that commonly co-occur but may lack a single reason, or underlying cause and the reason may be unknown or it could be a genetic factor or associated with the other disorder in the body. Treatment for syndromes primarily aims to improve the individual's well-being and address specific symptoms associated with the syndrome. It is not necessary to require medical treatment in many conditions here the first line of treatment is holistic in coordination with the right lifestyle change.

It is scientifically proven that PCOS/PCOD is considered PCOS only. It is a metabolic disorder and many factors can affect it like bad dietary habits, sleep-wake cycle, genetic factors, Environmental factors, use of cosmetic and chemical substances, and stress could be the reason.

Eating too much refined carbohydrate consumption of saturated fat-based processed food and leading a sedentary life with unnecessary stress are major culprits in today's time for causing PCOS in most reproductive-age females.

If it is not treated it could lead to many fatal diseases and complications like Diabetes and thyroid dysfunction. Cardiovascular disease, hypertension, breast cancer uterine cancer, and many more.

Treating PCOS with medicine is the not right solution and it could lead you to the above-mentioned diseases.

What to Do for Treating the PCOS/PCOD?

First, understand what are the symptoms of PCOS/PCOD you are facing. Choose holistic nutrition and the right food group because your body suffers from nutrient deficiency. Each meal should be a balanced meal with carbohydrates, protein, fat, fibers, minerals and vitamins. Make sure to avoid ultra-processed food and junk foods from your diet because whatever you eat. It will reflect on your health. Hence make a smart choice while eating. Eating outside food is not a crime but it should be in moderation.

Try to implement the right lifestyle changes. Correct your circadian rhythm and sleep-wake cycle, and add some light and easy activity.
