As we know we are growing towards modernization Being healthy is one of the most important tasks of life.
Our Ancients never needed to think about their health because they followed a lifestyle that was allied with nature. They smartly structured their lifestyle so that they never fall sick easily and live a life happier and longer.
A lifestyle that revolves around the four pillars which are balanced nutrition food, Adequate exercise, good quality sleep, and stress management.
Once you understand the relationship between these four pillars you never take your will and health for granted in your life.
Exercise:
Our Ancients used to Exercise first thing in the morning and second, they were active throughout the day.
Now the world moving faster and there is no time to think about health and wellness as we have desk jobs but still we have the option we can get up from chairs and stretch our bodies for 5- 10 minutes after every 30-45 minutes of seating or we can choose to climb the staircase against the lift. For this practice, you can put a 25 to 30-minute alarm on your device. So that you will get the remainder to get up from your desk and move your body.
Balance Nutrition:
Our Ancients had limited food options that were rich in nutrition and grown in the right environment with and least or no use of pesticides, They ate at the right time with the right method of eating food. They used to eat seasonal fresh food and vegetables etc. They eat with mindfulness.
Now we have many food options but they are the least in nutrition and processed too and lots of pesticides used in farming. We eat our food in a hurry and with lots of distractions like TV, Mobile, and electronic gadgets.
We can make a habit of eating homemade food which has good quality nutrition and is healthier than processed food.
Quality Sleep:
Our Ancients slept after 2-3 hours of sunset and woke up with an early sunrise. They aligned their body with nature and circadian rhythm.
Very few people know the term "Good Quality sleep" because people think that if we sleep for 8 hours it is quality sleep which is a myth.
Good quality sleep is disturbed-free sleep Whether it is for 6,7 or 8 hours. You wake up fresh with a good amount of energy and ready to do your upcoming day's activities full of energy and enthusiasm.
Stress Management:
In Ancient times each person kept faith in the power of infinite intelligence and they also practiced yoga and meditation which kept them away from stress.
But nowadays people are contained in stress because we want to mold things, and relationships according to our well-being. There are job stress workloads and many more things that are temporary but still, we stress a lot and put ourselves prone to many chronic diseases like cancer, diabetes, hypertension, etc because of stress.
We can practice Yoga, meditation, Journaling, and Visualization to manage such kinds of stress because stress is temporary your health is a priority above this.
